Dermaharmony 2% Pyrithione Zinc (ZnP) Bar Soap for Skin Conditions

As of mid-February 2023, this DermaHarmony 2% Pyrithione Zinc Body and Facial Soap product is no longer offered with two bars in a single wrapper. The bars are now individually wrapped, as indicated by the product photos. This soap is ideal for providing relief from the itching, redness, irritation, scaling, and flaking associated with seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff, particularly on the face and head. It is safe for daily use by both adults and children, and the ingredients have been kept as natural as possible.

The ACTIVE INGREDIENT is 2% Pyrithione Zinc (also known as Zinc Pyrithione, ZPT, ZNP, ZNPT, ZINCPT). The INACTIVE INGREDIENTS include Saponified Oils (from palm and coconut), Water, Glycerin (from vegetable oil), Titanium Dioxide (a natural mineral), Oatmeal, Olive Oil, Vitamin E, Table Salt, and Salt of Pentetic Acid.

For best results, the DIRECTIONS recommend using the soap daily or as directed by your doctor. Work up a lather using warm water and gently massage it into the affected areas. Leave the lather in contact with the skin for at least 30 seconds before rinsing thoroughly. Use this soap in place of your regular soap on the affected skin. In case of accidental ingestion, immediately contact a physician or poison control center.

Some customers may experience a drying of their skin when using this soap. To address this, it is recommended to start with one application and then gradually work up to daily application. If needed, or as directed by a doctor, you may increase the frequency to two or three times daily. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce the application to once a day or every other day. You may follow the cleansing with the natural moisturizer of your choosing.
